The other day, an Orlando-based DJ made a post in a female DJ group that attempted to recruit female talent in a rather sexist and frankly gross way. The post (and his subsequent responses) created a firestorm, and a conversation around female DJs and sexism in the music industry began buzzing about the blogosphere. I was lucky enough to sit down with Nylon Magazine and some other amazing Nap Girls in a roundtable interview about our experiences and what we can do to change the status quo. Check out the interview here!
